GAME CAPSULE
Game 1
  • Neither team could get anything going through four innings with UNF leaving six players stranded on the bases.
  • In the fifth, Penrod and Kelley each had a single with one out. The pair then moved over on a high wild pitch before the bases loaded on Kayla McGory's walk.
  • Cocuzza then chipped a single up the middle to bring home Penrod and keep the bases loaded.
  • Junior Casey Estes hit a ball to deep shortstop who bobbled it and allowed Kelley to score for the 2-0 lead.
  • It turned out to be the only offense the Ospreys needed as they kept the Hawks off the bases.
  • Just three total players reached second and no one went beyond it for the win.
