OPENING TIP
North Florida looks to get back-to-back wins for the first time this season as it heads to FAU. The Ospreys defeated FAU in UNF Arena last November in a high-scoring 95-88 2OT game. 

ON THIS DAY
North Florida is 3-2 on this date in program history. It has only played on the 3rd of December one time in Division I history and the last time was against crosstown rival in Jacksonville to start ASUN play. The Ospreys won that game 51-36.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Ospreys take a short break for finals before heading back out to Florida A&M on December 10 before traveling to Big Ten foe Michigan on Tuesday, Dec. 12. 

LAST TIME VS THE OWLS
  • It was a high-scoring double-overtime victory for UNF in November 2016 as all five starters scored in double figures.
  • Tesh Hanson was one of them with 17 points.
  • UNF shot 87.5 percent from the free throw line en route to a D1 program-record in makes from the line.
  • It was the first double overtime since January 22, 2015 against Northern Kentucky and only the fifth in program history.
  • The lead changed 16 times and knotted the score nine en route to two overtime periods.

SNAPPED FROM LONG RANGE
The Ospreys had a 67-game streak of hitting a three-pointer snapped against Monmouth (0-9) on November 25, 2017. Prior to that, the last time UNF went without a triple was Feb. 25, 2015.

FREE FOR ALL! 
North Florida set a program record ith 35 made free throws against Webber on November 24. Tesh Hanson, Ty Purifoy and Adrienne Jackson all hit seven freebies. In total, 62 fouls were called - just 8 short of the NCAA record.

NEWCOMER SUCCESS
Senior Keonna Farmer has earned two ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors and is the third player to earn the award since its inception in 2010-11. It is also the third straight year with the Ospreys winning the award.

HELPING OUT
Junior Ty Purifoy is ranked fifth in the ASUN with 3.1 assists per game. Her 22 total are tied for sixth.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING
North Florida has had four or more players score in double figures in eight games under coach Gibbs with three coming at the beginning of 2016-17. Last year against FAU, all five starters reached double digits.

COMING UP
The Ospreys take a break this week for final exams before getting back in action with two more road games. The first is over to Florida A&M on Sunday, Dec. 10 before heading north to take on Big Ten foe Michigan on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
