JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's basketball closes out its schedule before the holiday break with two games against Northern Kentucky and Edward Waters on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
GAME DAY CENTRAL
WHAT: North Florida (5-6) vs. Northern Kentucky (1-7)
WHERE: Jacksonville, Fla. (UNF Arena)
WHEN: Tuesday, Dec. 19 - 2 p.m.
THE SERIES: NKU leads 4-2
LAST TIME VS THE NORSE
- The last time the two teams met was the one year when NKU was part of the ASUN and the Norse grabbed a 67-29 home win. UNF won the first meeting, 81-79 in Jacksonville.
- Maiya Rumph is the lone Osprey to face the Norse. She played just 17 minutes with two points scored.
- UNF was held to 22 percent shooting and a 2-for-10 outing from long range. The Ospreys also struggled from the line, going 5-for-13.
- Just one NKU player, Mikayla Terry, was on the team when the squads faced off last.

LAST TIME VS THE TIGERS
- UNF picked up a 70-50 win against Edward Waters last season.
- Senior Tesh Hanson led the team with 13 points, while all nine players who saw the floor scored at least one basket. She narrowly missed a double-double with nine rebounds.
- The Ospreys pulled down 50 rebounds to the Tigers 29.
- Mayia Rumph picked up nine points and three steals, while Adrienne Jackson had four points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals with a block.
- North Florida struggled from long range hitting just two three-pointers - both coming in the second half.

North Florida looks to get back in the win column as it hosts the Holiday Classic featuring Northern Kentucky and Edward Waters. UNF has not played NKU since it left the ASUN at the end of the 2015 season. The Ospreys defeated EWC by 20 points last year.
