North Florida Faces Webber, Monmouth in Thanksgiving Classic

JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's basketball stays in town for the Thanksgiving weekend, but heads over to Jacksonville's Swish Gymnasium to face off with Webber and Monmouth on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

OPENING TIP
North Florida heads across town to Swisher Gymnasium were it faces off with Webber and Monmouth. It is the first meeting between Monmouth and the Ospreys, but the fifth against the Warriors. These are the only two neutral site games of the Ospreys regular season schedule.

North Florida is 4-5 on November 24, grabbing its last victory in 2012 against Vermont. On November 25, UNF is just 1-5 and played last season in the same tournament against South Alabama, dropping a 62-55 decision.

The Ospreys have made at least one 3-pointer in 66 consecutive games dating back to 2/25/15 when FGCU held them without a longball (0-8). Freshman Tiffany Tolbert helped keep the streak intact as she was the lone Osprey to hit a three against WVU.

North Florida went 1-1 in neutral site games last year and both were at Swisher Gymnasium.

Junior MAIYA RUMPH is in fourth place in the UNF Division I record book with 57 total blocks. 

NOT SO FRESH
Freshman Tiffany Tolbert has now recorded double figure point totals in three games and was most recently named the ASUN Freshman of the Week after averaging 16.0 points in UNF's 1-1 week. She shot 59 percent from the field and led the team in scoring against No. 12 West Virginia.
