JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Despite several career high performances, North Florida volleyball fell in four sets on Saturday to Kennesaw State inside UNF Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening stanza, Kennesaw State got out to an early 8-4 advantage before UNF went on a quick 5-3 run to cut it to 11-9 behind the power of three Osprey kills.
- The Ospreys were unable to get any closer in the opening set as the Owls used an 8-2 run and never looked back in route to a 25-17 set win.
- In the second set, the two teams traded leads early on which knotted the score at 5-all with Wheeler tallying three kills early in the set. The Owls followed with a 9-3 run to give them a 14-8 advantage.
- North Florida answered with a quick 4-1 spurt cutting Kennesaw's advantage to just three as Wheeler added two more kills in the span. The Owls countered with a five of the next six points pushing the lead to 20-13 late in the set. The Ospreys mounted a late run but the Owls hung on for a 25-20 set victory.
- In set three, the Owls got out to an early 7-4 lead before the Ospreys responded with a 7-2 run to grab an 11-9 advantage.
- The two squads stayed tight combining for six ties up to an 18-18 score. The teams swapped points to 22 before UNF finished off with a 4-2 run capped by a service ace from LaBorde.
- The fourth set featured six ties early before Kennesaw rattled off four straight points to build a 10-6 advantage. The Ospreys trimmed the margin to three at 11-8 were unable to get any closer as the Owls claimed the match with a 25-18 win in the frame.Â
- Wheeler set a new career-high with 17 kills surpassing her previous best 14 earlier this season against Mercer.
- Herman tied her career-high with 23 helpers matching her career-best set earlier this season against Charlotte.
- LaBorde set a new season-high with 28 digs.
- Asante Lopez set a new career-high with nine digs.
