  • Hitting .412 in the second set, it is the season-high in that frame during ASUN action.
  • In the final stanza, UNF continued its strong offense and jumped out to a 14-5 lead as Wheeler continued to lead the attack with six kills in the early goings.
  • From there it was the Ospreys match as they hit a solid .407 while holding the Hatters to their lowest hitting percentage of the match, .150.

QUICK HITS
  • Wheeler finished the weekend with back-to-back 20 kill matches becoming the first Osprey to accomplish that feat since Paige Pridgeon did it during the 2010 season. She also added 13 digs to the match for her fourth double-double of the season.
  • The Ospreys picked up back-to-back ASUN win for the first time since winning three in a row last season against FGCU, Stetson and NJIT.
  • Wheeler also set a career-high with her .459 hitting percentage in the contest. On the weekend she had 42 kills while hitting .284 to help lead the Osprey offense.
  • LaBorde is quickly approaching a career milestone as she tallied 10 digs and is now just 10 short of 1,000 for her career.

POSTGAME QUOTES
"We knew it was an important match since we were close with Stetson in the standings and the team came out focused and really executed the game plan from the start. We did a good job serving and getting them out of system which allowed some good transition opportunities for us. Devyn really stayed aggressive and made good decisions all weekend with where she hit the ball and mixing up what she did and she is doing a lot of things well for us." – Coach Steve Loeswick

"We definitely were feeding off of last night's match, but we had to think about the fact that today was a whole new match and we had to come out and perform tonight. I know we have the potential to do this every time we step out on the court it is just the process of carrying it throughout everything that we do. " – Taryn Griffey

UP NEXT
North Florida hits the road for the final time in the regular season with a visit to Kennesaw State and Lipscomb. Friday's match with the Owls begins at 7 p.m., before wrapping up the weekend with a 6 p.m. serve against the Bisons in Nashville.
