OPENING TIP
- Dallas Moore led a group of six UNF players in double digits, finishing with 23 points in 23 minutes of action. Moore was 10-12 from the field including a trio of three-pointers to go along with five assists. His performance pushed him over the 2,000-point plateau for his career becoming the first player in UNF basketball (men's or women's) history to reach the mark and only the eighth player in ASUN history.
- Freshman Garrett Sams netted 18 points while fellow freshman Wajid Aminu tallied his team-leading 4th double-double collecting 11 points and a career best 13 rebounds. Other double figure performers included: Karlos Odum (11), Aaron Bodager (10) and Aaron Horne (10).
- The Ospreys posted a program record 13 blocked shots in the contest led by 6 from Aminu and 5 for senior Chris Davenport
- Malek Barber recorded 15 points to lead a trio of Sailfish players in double digits.

GAME CAPSULE
First Half Trends
- Score was tied four times and lead swapped twice in opening minutes of play.
- With Palm Beach Atlantic up 15-12, Ospreys answered with a 13-0 run to snatch control of the momentum. Dallas Moore recorded a pair of dunks in the surge that was capped by a three-pointer from Benedikt Haid.
- North Florida maintained a double-figure advantage the remainder of the half, shooting 47% from the field while limiting PBA to just 38% shooting including a 2-for-8 performance from long distance.
- Moore (16 pts) and Garrett Sams (14 pts) accounted for 30 of UNF's 47-point first half effort
- A driving lay-up with 36 seconds left in the half was the basket that put the standout senior over the 2,000-point mark

Second Half Trends
- The Ospreys blitzed out of the gates to start the second period, outscoring PBA 18-6 over the first five minutes. The strong opening surge allowed UNF to extend their lead to over 20, 65-44, with 15:27 remaining in the game.
- UNF closed their run with nine straight points before a basket from the Sailfish slowed the surge, but North Florida followed up the PBA bucket with the next 16 points putting the game out of reach. The Ospreys 25-2 run was one of the largest of the season for the home team.
- North Florida would build as large as a 40-point margin late in the second half before claiming the 35-point victory.

SAY WHAT...
"Being 5-12 isn't a great thing but we are definitely looking forward to getting start Saturday in ASUN play and everybody being 0-0. I don't think anybody will overlook our team because of Dallas Moore. We played the 26th hardest schedule in the nation and our guys handled the challenge amazingly. Our goal for tonight was to share the ball and keep things moving and I thought we accomplished that."

On Dallas Moore
"When you coach a long time like I have, you get the opportunity to be part of some really great things, and I can honestly say I have never coached a player as talented as Dallas Moore. He is the complete package. He has done it at a high level against all levels of competition. He just wants to compete and plays with an amazing level of confidence." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll

On Scoring 2,000 Points
"It definitely feels great. I couldn't have done this without all my teammates so I first of all want to thank each of them. I am also very appreciative of the time and support of the coaches who have helped me grow and mature as a player during my career. This is really a team accomplishment." -- Dallas Moore

NEXT UP
- Having wrapped up their non-conference ledger, North Florida now turns its attention to ASUN Conference play beginning Saturday (Jan. 7) on the road against crosstown rival Jacksonville in the season's first edition of the River City Rumble.
