CONWAY, S.C. - North Florida volleyball heads out for its last non-conference weekend as it travels to South Carolina to play Georgia Tech on Friday and Coastal Carolina on Saturday in the Chanticleer Classic.

Carinne Turner, who was a setter, has turned into a hitter as well.

Senior
Morgan Van Alstine continues to top the ASUN in total blocks and now ranks 11th in the country with 56. She sits in third place in the UNF annals with 358 career stops.
DO-IT-ALL KID
Junior
Carinne Turner has turned into the go-to player on the floor. She now has 70 kills to go along with 225 assists and five aces. She has also been effective on defense with 101 digs and 22 total blocks.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Georgia Tech - First Meeting
The Yellow jackets are currently 7-2 on the season and coming off a 3-0 week in the Georgia Challenge only dropping two sets to Atlantic Sun foe Kennesaw State, 3-2 on Sept. 8. Teegan Van Gunst leads the team with 118 total kills and hitting .233 in her nine matches. She also is second on the team with 127 digs and owns 19 blocks to her stat line. The ACC-leading libero London Ackermann has a team-high 166 digs to go along with a team-best 11 aces. The offense runs through setter Rebecca Martin who has 255 helpers, while she assists at the net as well with 11 blocks. Tech leads the ACC in digs, while ranking third in total kills.
Coastal Carolina - CCU leads 0-2
Coastal Carolina is also 7-2 on the year with its lone losses coming against nationally-ranked opponents. The Chanticleers have a 2-0 record against UNF with their last win coming in 2014 in Jacksonville in five sets. Leah Hardeman leads the team with 96 kills, while Annayka Legros is hitting a .478 to rank second in the country. The duo of Sara Boothe and Kate Federico split time running the offense with 156 and 146 assists, respectively. Federico also leads the team with 11 aces. Defensively, Coastal is led by Carla Cahill with 80 digs and Legros with 35 total blocks.
