BATON ROUGE, La. – The North Florida Softball team fell 4-0 to Connecticut in their final game of the Tiger Classic Sunday afternoon in Baton Rouge, La.
The Ospreys finish a tough weekend in Baton Rouge 0-5 and look to get into the win column next weekend at the Madeira Beach Invitational hosted by Eastern Michigan.
The Ospreys tallied six hits in the game, but ultimately left nine runners on-base. The Huskies took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth with a three-RBI double to right center. They added the fourth run in the bottom of the fifth with a RBI single to the right side.
The Ospreys loaded the bags in the top of the fourth for their best chance to get runners across, but stranded all three on base.

Minnie Cocuzza went 2-for-4.
The Ospreys will play next in Madeira Beach, Fla. against Providence and Georgia Southern on Friday, February 19 at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
