JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida volleyball welcomes NJIT and USC Upstate on Friday and Saturday, respectively as the Ospreys close out their home slate and celebrate the team's four seniors.

QUICK HITS 
- Senior Morgan Van Alstine surpassed her 2015 total of 111 blocks with 117 in the sweep last weekend.  She is now three shy of cracking the top 10 in UNF season records.
- Freshman Gabby O'Connell places 89th in in the nation with 373.5 points this season and is 105th in total kills. She is 11th among rookies.
- Kimberly Ferguson is 4th in active career leaders in the ASUN with 942 digs.
- The win over FGCU last Friday was the first since 2013 when UNF beat the Eagles on the same exact date in a 3-2 match.
- As a team, UNF has 244.5 blocks to place 23rd out of 329 teams in the country. Jacksonville State is first with 330.5.

ON THIS DAY
November 4- The Ospreys are extremely succcessful during early November as they are 8-0 on this date. They last played at Jacksonville in 2011 with a 3-2 win.
November 5 - UNF is 9-3 on this date in November, but have not played on 11/5 since 2005 when the Ospreys beat Belmont in their final ASUN match of the season.

Senior Morgan Van Alstine is 29th in the nation with 117 total blocks. She is No. 1 in the ASUN and has 30 more than the next player.

TALLYING TRANSFER
Sophomore Madilyn McCarty spent her rookie season with Winthrop. She recorded 1229 helpers and with her 688 this season she ranks seventh in the UNF career records.

ASUN AWESOME
Senior Erin Edwards leads the league in ASUN-only games, hitting at a .375 clip.

LOOKING AHEAD
UNF ends ASUN play on the road at Kennesaw State and Lipscomb on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

SERIES
North Florida has won seven of its last 10 meetings with the Spartans. Upstate has not beat the Ospreys on their home floor since 1994 when both schools were division II.
The Ospreys are 3-0 against the Highlanders and have not dropped a set against NJIT in the brief series history.
