HOW IT HAPPENED
With a roaring crowd of more than 2,500 students from local elementary schools the team took off on a 13-0 run and never looked back. The Ospreys held the Warriors to a 27-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Sophomore
Hadley Kiefer was on fire in the second frame scoring nine points alongside teammate
Sierra Shepherd who scored seven and dished out four assists to help give the team a comfortable 53-28 lead going into the half.
Webber came out of the locker room looking to minimize the Osprey lead, but an immediate three-pointer by Shepherd stole the visitors' momentum. The Warriors looked to senior Victoria Baggett to help get them back in the game as she was the lone player to reach double digits with 20 points.
In the fourth quarter the Ospreys outscored the Warriors 25-17 with eight different players connecting with the basket. With 1:14 left in the game and the clock ticking,
Hadley Kiefer hit a three-pointer off an assist by
Karrah Johnson to give the Ospreys their first 100-point game since 1997.
FOR THE OPPONENTS
Baggett- 20 points, 4 rebounds
Breyonna Reed- 5 rebounds, 3 steals
