LOESWICK'S THOUGHTS...
"It was exciting to get another win on our home court. I thought the team came out focused and did some nice things today. Our efficiency on the offensive side was a big key for us in the match. It was good for us to get Morgan (Van Alstine) going offensively tonight. She had 11 kills and hit over .500, and she is a weapon that we definitely need to have going at the end of the year. We did a great job passing and used our transition digs effectively to give us good opportunities. Hopefully, we can keep that going next weekend for our final two home matches. We are looking forward to having some nice crowds at the matches to celebrate our senior class."

HOW IT HAPPENED
Both offenses were clicking in the first set as UNF finished the frame hitting .353 while Stetson hit at a .303 clip.
Katarina Raicevic led the way for the Ospreys tallying five kills in nine attempts in opening set. The two teams battled back-and-forth with neither team owning larger than a two point edge for much of the contest. The set featured 12 ties including the final one at 20-20 before UNF closed out the scoring with a 5-1 spurt aided by four consecutive service points from Ashley Laborde.
The second set displayed more of the same tightly contested play as the two squad settled into a sideout battle. Laborde again sparked the Ospreys from the service line, collecting three straight points to open up a 15-12 lead. UNF would maintain a slim margin through several rotations before
Madilyn McCarty used aggressive serving to keep the Hatters off-balance and score the final five points of the stanza for the 2-0 match lead. The Ospreys also dominated the offensive play, outhitting SU .387 to .114 in the set.
Gabby O'Connell was the driving force in the decisive third set, collecting six kills and three digs. For the third consecutive set, Laborde strung together a run of points from the service line helping UNF to an early 5-1 advantage. Raicevic and
Carinne Turner both followed with aces during their time at the line as the Ospreys built their lead to 11-4. The Hatters fought back and closed the gap to just four points, but four straight points on Turner's next serve put the match away as UNF moved in front 20-13. After a couple of Stetson points, Van Alstine closed out the match serving for the final four points including an ace.
