TopDrawer Top 20: In its midseason top 20 players by conference report, TopDrawer Soccer listed three Ospreys, Colubiale (#15), Alexis Bredeau (#16) and Sarah Wasser (#19). The three players listed are the second most in the eight-team ASUN.

Colubiale's Contributions: In just two seasons, sophomore Krista Colubiale has developed into one of the ASUN's top scoring threats. As a freshman, she appeared in all 17 games and scored three times and has already surpassed that total in 2016. Colubiale has started all 15 games this season and is tied for the team lead with five goals. Colubiale has established career highs in goals (5), points (14) and assists (4) so far in 2016.

Wasser Assists Big: North Florida midfielder, Sarah Wasser, leads the team with five assists, the second most by an Osprey in a single season in the program's D-1 era (2005-present).She is the first Osprey with five assists in a season since Carolina Lencina tallied five in 2013.

Finishing Strong: The road to the ASUN playoffs for the Ospreys has to go through the top two teams in the league. Last week, Stetson came into the match with a 4-0-1 record in league play and now sit in second place falling to FGCU, 2-1 on Monday night. North Florida will now host the Eagles who have won the last six ASUN Regular Season Championships and are 25-0-4 against ASUN teams in the regular season the last four years.

Overtime Magic Comes to End: The 3-2 loss to Stetson was the first time the Ospreys have been defeated in overtime this season.  North Florida is now 2-1-2 this season in games that are decided in overtime, and this was the first time since 2008 that the team competed in five overtime games.

All-Time Record: The Eagles last conference loss came at the hands of the Ospreys on Oct. 5, 2012, when North Florida defeated FGCU, 2-0 in Jacksonville.  North Florida is looking to end a three-game losing streak against FGCU this Saturday.   The Eagles have gotten the best of the Ospreys, boasting a 7-1-1 record against North Florida since the first matchup in 2007.

About FGCU: The Eagles enter the weekend as the only unbeaten team in the conference with a league record of 5-0-1.  FGCU broke a tie atop the ASUN standings on Monday night when they defeated Stetson, 2-1 in Fort Myers. FGCU is undefeated in their last eight matches, not dropping a game since Sept. 11, where they fell to UCF, 4-3.  The Eagles lead the ASUN in shots (274), assists (33), points (93), shutouts (8) and goals allowed (13). The team is led by 2015 ASUN Player of the Year, Tabby Tindell who leads the league in goals scored (13) and assists (7), making her the all-time leader in goals and points in ASUN history. Tindell entered the 2016 season as the program all-time leader in goals and points, and has become the all-time leader in assists in FGCU history since the start of the season. The senior forward ranks second in the nation in points recorded this season. FGCU freshman goalkeeper, Melissa Weck, leads the ASUN in shutouts (8), goals allowed (13), and wins (11) this season.
