CHARLESTON, S.C. – University of North Florida volleyball held on to take a 3-2 (25-17, 23-25, 26-24, 19-25, 15-6) victory over Wright State in the Ospreys' first match at The Citadel Tournament on Friday at McAlister Field House.

UNF came out with a strong start in the first set, limiting its miscues in order to take a 25-17 win and lead the match 1-0.

The Ospreys fought Wright State close over the next three sets. The Raiders edged out UNF 25-23 in the second set, but UNF claimed the third set 26-24. However, Wright State forced a decisive fifth set after taking the fourth set 25-19.

Good plays at the start of the fifth set swung the momentum towards the Ospreys' favor as UNF cruised to a 15-6 set victory and a 3-2 win in the match.

UNF concludes play at The Citadel Tournament on Saturday with matches against The Citadel at 11:30 a.m., and UNC Asheville at 2:30 p.m., at McAlister Field House.
