The Ospreys swept Bethune-Cookman 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-23) and then held off Campbell 3-1 (21-25, 25-12, 25-22, 25-21).
"Bethune-Cookman gave us some challenges at the net and they are pretty athletic and have kids that can take some strong swings," said head coach
Steve Loeswick. "We were able to do a pretty good job with our serving and receiving during that match and that helped us control the tempo of the game a little bit. With this evening's match with Campbell, they gave us some other challenges. They served us tough and got us out of system, but I was proud with how our team responded and fought through long rallies. All the sets were close and I'm happy we were able to make the big plays at the end."
