ORLANDO, Fla. – The North Florida softball team closed out their regular-season road schedule with a 5-0 loss to No. 13 UCF Saturday afternoon at the UCF Softball Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The Ospreys (30-25) look to rebound in their final game of the regular season against No. 8 Florida State next weekend at home at the UNF Softball Complex.
UCF opened the game on a 1-0 lead from a RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the third, the Knights pushed the lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth off of a bases-loaded walk.
UCF made the score the eventual 5-0 final with a three-run sixth inning. The Knights first made the score 4-0 with two back-to-back solo home runs, followed by a bunt RBI to make it 5-0.

Stacy McClelland notched the only hit for the Ospreys in the top of the fourth inning with a single to right field.
