Colubiale Earns A-Sun All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman Honors

MACON, Ga. – Freshman forward Krista Colubiale was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference Second Team and All-Freshman team, announced by the conference office Thursday.

"What a great accomplishment for Krista and we are proud of her," said head coach Robin Confer. "She has really worked hard in conference play and shown that she is a threat and has scored some big goals for us."

The Port Orange, Fla. native scored the first goal of the Ospreys this season in the first minute of play against Francis Marion. She currently leads the team in goals with three, while she has tallied seven points for the Ospreys.

Colubiale also has tallied 11 total shots, six of which were on goal for a percentage of .545.

Colubiale and the Ospreys will take on Jacksonville in the First Round of the A-Sun Championship Friday at Southern Oak Stadium at 7 p.m.
