Competition Concludes for #IndoorTF at Hilton Garden Invite

Final Results
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Day two of competition at the Hilton Garden Innvitational saw strong performances on both the men's and women's sides for the North Florida Track & Field team on the JDL Fast Track.
Freshman runner Nick Morken highlighted the men's showing with a third-place finish in the mile with an Atlantic Sun Conference season best time of 4:12.84. Junior teammate Jeremy Bryan was 20th in the same event with a time of 4:21.29. Jacoby Hadden, the current A-Sun Track Athlete of the Week, collected a seventh-place finish with a 22.64 in the 200m.
Vernetia Irving posted a Top 10 finish in the women's 200m with a time of 25.71, while also earning a 13th-place finish in the 60m at 7.84. In the women's mile race, Alessandra Valdes led a quartet of solid performances for the Ospreys finishing 13th in 5:10.52 followed by Dagmar Olsen (5:11.42), Alexis Irwin (5:14.05) and Emily Stallings (5:19.70).
