Live Stats

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 69 North Florida men's tennis plays its spring home-opener on Sunday when the Ospreys host No. 73 College of Charleston at 1 p.m., at the UNF Tennis Complex.

"We cannot wait to play our first match at home," said head coach Mark Finnegan. "The guys have played great the first two weekends, so I hope our fans will get to see how much energy and passion the team brings to the courts."

UNF comes off a 2-1 showing at last weekend's Tennessee Spring Invitational. The Ospreys collected shutout victories over No. 67 ETSU and Southern Illinois and had a close loss to No. 17 Tennessee.

Sunday's match is the fifth nationally-ranked opponent for the Ospreys. UNF is 3-1 against ranked teams thus far in the season and 4-2 overall on the season.

Earlier this week, UNF garnered national and conference attention. The Ospreys moved up three spots in the latest ITA Team Rankings on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Julian Bradley earned the first Atlantic Sun Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor for the 2015 season. Bradley has a 4-0 record this spring and notched the match-winning point in three of UNF's four victories.

College of Charleston begins its spring season with the match at UNF. The Cougars return nine players from the team that reached the CAA Tournament finals a year ago. College of Charleston brings back their No. 1 and No. 2 singles players in Brice Allanic and Rodrigo Encinas.

Admission is free for all home UNF tennis matches.
