ATLANTA, Ga. – The University of North Florida men's tennis team finished up play at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex at Georgia Tech.
In singles play,
Norbert Nemcsek defeated Matthew Gladstone of UCF 6-4, 6-2 in the round of 32. Nemcsek then fell to the No. 2 seed Nathan Pasha of Georgia 7-6(4), 6-4 in the round of 16.
In the round of 32, Caio Gomes fell to Tobi Menhofer of Kennesaw State 4-6, 7-6, 6-3. Yannick Zuern fell to Miami's Henrique Tsukamoto 6-4, 6-2. Jack Findel-Hawkins fell to Miami's Diego Soto 6-7, 6-1, 6-1.
The Ospreys continue their fall season at the USTA Clay Court Invitational at ESPN's Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., on Oct. 24.
