UNF took an early 3-1 lead in the second game on kills from Stroder, Read and junior Kavie Sturch, but UNO stayed with the Lady Ospreys point-for-point. But UNF wasn't able to find a way to wrap up the win, allowing UNO to close the game on a 7-0 run.
The Privateers dominated the momentum in the third game by getting out an 8-0 lead. UNO went up by as many as 12, but the Lady Ospreys kept the pressure on and cut the deficit to 22-17 on a 6-0 run that was highlighted by three Stroder aces. But UNF couldn't keep the train rolling, and UNO used an 8-4 run to seal the match.
