AUBURN, Ala. - The University of North Florida men's tennis team fell 7-0 to 40th-ranked Auburn on Sunday afternoon at the Auburn Intramural Courts.

The Ospreys (0-4) captured a win at No. 2 doubles when Leonardo Gomes and Javier Ferrin teamed to knock off Auburn's Alex Schweizer and Alexey Tsyrenov , 8-6.

UNF couldn't get anything beyond that against the Tigers (2-0), however, who won the other two doubles matches to capture the doubles point and then coasted through the six singles matches in straight sets.

Three of UNF's four losses this season have now come to teams ranked in the top 40 - with Auburn joining 15th-ranked Florida State and 11th- ranked Miami.

UNF returns to action on Friday when it travels across town to face off against cross-town rival Jacksonville University in a SunTrust River City Rumble matchup. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
