CHARLESTON, S.C. - The University of North Florida men's tennis team lost 5-2 at College of Charleston on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys looked solid early - winning two of three doubles matches to capture the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead out of the gates. From there, the Cougars took control in their season opener.
UNF (0-3) got its only singles win at the No. 3 position, where Javier Ferrin upended Justin Malina, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4.
UNF returns to action on Sunday when it plays at Auburn. Match time is set for 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
