"Today's match was like most all of our matches have been this season," UNF head coach Mike Munch said. "We spotted them a goal early and then had to fight back. We were able to do that, but when we got into the overtime period we just didn't have any breaks go our way. You hate to lose one like that. It's really painful."

UNF managed to knot the game at a goal apiece in the 76th minute of play when midfielder Courtney Forson headed a Nicole Handy pass just beyond the reach of Jacque Sutphin.
With neither team able to score in the final
Francis Marion's Liz Gallacher added the game-winning goal with just
UNF outshot Francis Marion 10-8. Both squads tallied four shots on goal.
