• Served as UNF Athletic Director from 1985-89 and again in 1990
• UNF won its first national title during his term as athletic director
• Was instrumental in building the infrastructure for UNF Athletics with several facilities being built during his tenure including:
- UNF Tennis Complex
- Harmon Stadium
- UNF Aquatics Center
• Oversaw the inception and development of the UNF Baseball program
• Helped set standard for excellence in UNF Athletics
