High School: Four-year basketball letter winner at Christopher Columbus High School (2008-11) for Coach Henry Lorenzo and Hialeah Gardens High School for Coach Marcos Molina… Helped lead Hialeah Gardens to the 8A State Championship in 2012 over Hagerty High and current UNF teammate Aaron Bodager… Gladiators finished with a 33-2 mark in 2012… Named State Tournament MVP, second-team All-State, Dade County All-Star and runner-up for Dade County Player of the Year as a senior… Member of back-to-back Regional Runner-up teams at CCHS (2010 & 2011)… Averaged 18.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 10.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game in senior season… Two-time All-District, All-Area and All-Region honoree… Member of the Golf Coast AAU team.
