2023 AVCA Thirty Under 30 List
Madilyn McCarty joined the North Florida beach volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in March 2022. McCarty enters her fourth season with the program in 2025.
McCarty cemented herself as one of the top performers for the indoor and beach volleyball programs during her time at North Florida.
The Springfield, Ill., native arrived prior to the 2017 season as a transfer from Winthrop. On the indoor side, McCarty totaled 2,291 assists, 226 kills, 576 digs and 146 blocks, playing as one of the most versatile setters in the ASUN. McCarty finished her North Florida career seventh all-time in assists and fourth in the UNF DI-era.
On the beach side, McCarty won 44 matches, including two seasons with 21 wins apiece. In 2019 she was a Second Team All-ASUN selection. McCarty ranks 13th in total victories.
McCarty earned both her bachelor's and master's degree from North Florida.
