Coach Driscoll's Comments
"Since a young age, Mark Flakus has possessed a uniqueness along with a servant's attitude that consistently makes him stand out. On the floor, he has a high-level skill set for making shots from everywhere on the floor. Mark is able to not only score from well beyond the college 3-point line, but also utilizes his craftiness to regularly find buckets around the rim. His team-first attitude and competitive nature combine to make him the perfect fit for our program and culture, that we have built over the years."

SCOUTING REPORT
Setting the tone at both ends of the floor, Flakus creates open shots for teammates, scores from the perimeter and in the paint when the opportunity presents itself, gets on the glass and is disruptive in the passing lanes on the defensive end.  An intelligent player, Flakus can be put at any position on the floor and make an impact. Flakus is all substance and no flash. He is solid with the basketball in his hands and does a good job of running the offense. Flakus has consistent shooting range out to the three-point line, sees the floor well and makes good decisions with the ball on the move.  A better than expected athlete, he is a good defender that understands angles and positioning so that he doesn't get beat on drives -- Source: Hoops Eval
