As a sophomore, 2007: Made an appearance in 28 games with 25 starts on the year … finished the year with a .273 batting average, which was good for fifth on the team … had a hit in her first three starts of the season against Pitt, UCF and Miami (Ohio) at the Miken FAU Invitational … went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI against Utah Valley State in the team's opening game of Arizona State's tournament … had a hit in each of UNF's meetings with second-ranked Arizona State … collected a hit and an RBI in both ends of a doubleheader against Georgia Southern on March 7 … went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run and an RBI before collecting a base hit against Stetson in tournament play on March 10 … led UNF with a .375 batting average during its four-game swing through Birmingham, Ala. … went 1-for-3 witha run and an RBI in the second game of a doubleheader against UAB before going 2-for-3 with a run in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Birmingham-Southern … went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored against Bethune-Cookman on March 28 … drove home a run and scored another in the opening game of a doubleheader against Florida A&M … made her first start of the season behind the plate in the nightcap against the Rattlers.
As a freshman, 2006: Played in 41 games with 39 starts, seeing time at catcher, first base and designated player … hit .243 with a home run and six RBIs … tied for second on the team, hitting .255 in conference games … had a hit in nine of her last 13 games … had a base hit in her first collegiate at-bat against Armstrong Atlantic State on Feb. 9 … went 1-for-3 and scored the game-winning run against N.C. State in the second game of a doubleheader on March 7 … had a season-high six-game hitting streak from April 13-19 … first multi-hit game of the season came on April 18 against Armstrong Atlantic … went 3-for-4 with an RBI against Kennesaw State on April 29 … hit her first career home run at Florida Atlantic on May 1, going 2-for-4 in the contest with a pair of runs and an RBI.
High School: 2005 graduate of Durant High School, where she played for Melisa Sigmon her first two seasons and Missy Hernandez her final two … along with catching, she also played first base, third base and all three outfield positions … named a Tampa Tribune All-Hillsborough County Honorable Mention selection as a senior … named her team's offensive player of the year and MVP as a senior … was also a member of the Hillsborough County All-Star Team that season … helped lead her team to the state final four in 2002, regional finals in 2003 and district championship in 2004 … played with seven players who went on to play collegiate softball; Ashley Fertic (Kentucky), Beth Nolan (East Carolina), Amy Beck (Hillsborough Community College), Krysta Harris (HCC), Tiffany Harris (HCC) and Leslie Miller (St. Petersburg College) … also played volleyball and basketball her first two years … graduated with honors, finishing 41st among 512 students.
