- Played in 12 games and tallying 80 minutes of action
- Made collegiate debut with first points scored at Penn State
- Scored in eight games with a season high 7 points against Florida National
- Saw a season best 18 mins of action against #12 Auburn
- Finished season perfect 8-8 from the FT line
- Transferred to McLennan Community College following the season
 

High School

- Varsity letterwinner at Douglas County High School for coach Hollis Bethea
- Played all five positions on the court for DCHS but was primarily a shooting guard
-Selected to the All-Region Team for Class AAAAAA Region 5 after helping lead Douglas County to a 22-7 record and a trip to the Sweet 16
- Averaged 12.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game while also tallying 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per contest as a prep senior
- Shot 46 percent from the field including making 36 percent from the 3-point line and connecting at a 76 percent clip at the free throw line during final high school season
- Prior to playing at Douglas County, Copeland was a prep teammate as a sophomore with current Osprey Wajid Aminu at Wheeler High School
- Key member of an AAU Club Basketball team (Team AJ Bouye Tornadoes) sponsored by Jacksonville Jaguar defensive back AJ Bouye.
