Biography

2008-09 Season: Played in 29 games on the year, starting 20… Averaged 5.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game… Second on the team in steals with 30… Led the team in scoring with 13 points on Dec. 28 vs. IPFW… Had 11 points in season opener vs. Savannah State (Nov. 16)… Led team in rebounding three times, including two of the three double-digit rebound games for UNF on the season… Had a UNF season-high 13 boards vs. Kennesaw St. (Jan. 9) and 11 vs. Mercer (Jan. 11)… Just missed double-doubles in both of those games with nine points and eight points, respectively… Entering the 2009-10 season, he already ranks in the top 10 in five different UNF career categories… Ranks sixth in games started (73) and minutes played (2,433), seventh in steals (87), eighth in assists (179) and ninth in rebounding (343).

 

2007-08 Season: Played in all 29 games, making 24 starts on the season… Tallied a then-career-high 10 rebounds vs. FAMU… Tied for team high in assists vs. Concordia (3)… Ranked second on team in assists… Played a season-high 35 minutes vs. Charleston Southern… Hit his first 3-pointer of the season at Belmont… Enjoyed best performance of the season against Jacksonville on Feb. 15, when he scored 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting.

 

2006-07 Season: Started all 29 games for the Ospreys as a true freshman, bouncing around among each of the guard and forward positions at various times during the year... His 29 starts were the most by any freshman in school history and his 1,001 minutes were the most played by a freshman in school annals... His 29 games were two shy of the school freshman mark... Averaged 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, which ranked fifth and fourth, respectively, on the team... Played 30 or more minutes 26 times during the season, including three games of 40 minutes or more... Scored in double figures six times, including a season-high 18 against Gardner-Webb on Jan. 18... In that game, he hit 4-of-9 from the floor, 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 8-of-10 from the free throw line... He tallied 14 points and eight rebounds against Lipscomb on Feb. 22... Collected season-high nine rebounds in games against Skidmore (Dec. 28) and Campbell (Jan. 25)... Had three steals in a game four times… Had six assists twice - against Florida A&M (Dec. 20) and vs. crosstown rival Jacksonville on Jan. 9… Earned Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic honors.

 

High School: Played three varsity seasons for head coach Willie Graham at Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Ga.... Played point guard as a senior, but also saw action at power forward and small forward during his career... Earned first-team all-state honors from both the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution as a senior... Averaged 13 points, seven assists and eight rebounds per game in leading Liberty County to a 23-5 record and a berth in the AAA semifinals... Was also named the Region 3-AAA Player of the Year as a senior... Shot 48 percent from the floor as a senior and also averaged 3.3 steals per contest... In his three-year career, he averaged nearly 11 points per game and shot 42 percent from the floor... Earned honorable mention all-region as a sophomore and junior... Team won regional titles his sophomore and senior seasons... Recorded a triple-double against Metter High School in 2005-06, tallying 14 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds... Tallied 20 rebounds in a game against Burke High School his junior year... Also played AAU basketball with the South Georgia Kings and Middle Georgia Bucks for coaches Leonard Hall and Melvin Flowers, respectively... The Bucks won the senior national title in 2006 in an Orlando tournament.
