CHARLESTON, S.C. - North Florida women's tennis was incredibly competitive on the road, however, fell narrowly in the final singles matches with a 4-3 defeat to Charleston Southern on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ospreys were dominant in doubles play, with the duos of
Nicole Alfaro Solis &
Isabel Oliveira and
Laurie Barendse &
Anslee Long earning the doubles point for UNF.
Gabby Goyins extended North Florida's lead to 2-1 with a singles victory. From there, a trio of courts in the third set were tied 2-2 before CSU was able to escape with a win.
