GAINSEVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis fell to Florida, 6-1, at Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon.
Florida clinched the doubles point and extended its lead with wins on courts one through five. Freshman
Joao Portugal secured the initial set on court six, 7-6, and added to his margin in the second set, 4-1.
Portugal maintained that momentum to take court six in straight sets, 7-6, 6-2. After he dropped the first set, freshman
Jean Deloziere won the second set on court two, 7-6, before he fell in the third set tiebreaker.
