JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's basketball got behind in the first half and couldn't rally to overcome Lipscomb (10-5, 2-0 ASUN) as the Ospreys (7-8, 0-2 ASUN) dropped Saturday's contest with the Bison, 96-64.

An up and down the court affair ensued early, with Lipscomb taking a 15-6 lead at the first media timeout.
Liam Murphy drained UNF's first three-pointer of the game but Lipscomb led 21-13 at the under 12 media timeout. Lipscomb widened its lead to 17, but a quick 5-0 spurt from UNF thanks to a stepback three from
Jaylen Smith and a Murphy layup forced Lipscomb to a timeout. Lipscomb stayed in front, taking a 51-33 lead at the half. Murphy and Miles both finished with double-digit scoring outings as Lipscomb stayed ahead for the rest of the game.
