JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's tennis (1-0) opened up its spring season with a victory over Troy (0-1), 4-3, on Saturday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex. Behind the efforts of eight different players and five starting freshmen, head coach
John Collins notched his first victory as the head coach of the Ospreys.
UNF won the doubles point in their opening match to keep the same momentum from last season.
Bruno Vietri and
Gianluca Filoramo opened up their season with a win. Despite
Lorenzo Messina and
Jean Deloziere falling in their opening match, the doubles point was later clinched by
