BATON ROUGE, La. - Annie Antar went for her fourth double-double of the year and 14 Ospreys saw playing time as North Florida volleyball wrapped up a five-game road stretch in a loss to LSU (8-2) Friday, Sept. 20.
Mya Sopata paced the Ospreys in kills for the second time on the weekend and
Kierstyn McFall also hit above .500 in UNF's fourth match against a Power Four team this year.
UNF 0, LSU 3 (18-25, 18-25, 19-25)
- Set 1: Five Ospreys got into the kill column, but LSU held a 15-11 lead at the first media timeout … LSU closed the set with only two errors as they took the opening set.
- Set 2: The second set saw four tie scores and a lead change, but LSU's AC Froelich carried the Tigers by hitting .444 as they held off UNF's late push.
- Set 3: Mya Sopata put up a set-best five kills and McFall broke double-digit kills with her three kills, but LSU held on late.
