DeLAND, Fla. - North Florida softball (33-17, 17-7 ASUN) clinched the second seed in the ASUN Championship Tournament after
Shannon Glover lifted the Ospreys to 2-1 victory to win the regular season finale against Stetson (15-37, 6-18 ASUN) on Saturday afternoon.
Kylah Berry tallied six innings under her belt, with the Hatters taking a one-run lead in the third inning. The Ospreys remained scoreless until the top of the seventh where Glover hit the go-ahead two-run shot to center for the lead.
Allison Benning came into the game in the bottom half, recording the save and the win with three-straight strikeouts.
It marks the second time in three seasons the Ospreys have clinched a top-three seed in the ASUN Championship. UNF receives a double-bye along with No. 1 Eastern Kentucky and will face the winner of No. 3 Central Arkansas versus the winner of No. 6 Jacksonville and No. 7 Queens (N.C.).

Ospreys trailed 1-0 until the top of the seventh when Glover hit a two-run blast to center field to give UNF the advantage late on. Benning took the mound in the bottom half and struck out the side to seal the series win for the Ospreys.
