JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After a pair of impressive wins earlier in the River City Rumble series, North Florida softball (29-15, 13-5 ASUN) dropped its final game of the weekend to Jacksonville (21-21, 11-7 ASUN), 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.
The Ospreys faced troubles on offense throughout the game, but were within striking distance in all seven innings in part of
Halle Arends' efforts in the circle with four innings of scoreless ball. JU put up three runs with a bases loaded walk and two blooper singles to earn the lead, which is all they needed to secure the win.
