CHARLOTTE, N.C. - North Florida softball (23-10, 7-2) could not generate offense in the rubber match to Queens (N.C.) (15-16, 2-7), as they fell in the road weekend finale, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Ospreys held it at a tie game through five innings with only one hit combined between the two teams. Two runs scored in the bottom of the sixth by the Royals gave little time for UNF to respond in the shutout loss.
