JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida baseball (14-9, 4-2 ASUN) dropped the final two games of their weekend series against Central Arkansas (11-13, 3-3 ASUN), falling 9-6 and 2-0, respectively on Sunday afternoon at Harmon Stadium.

North Florida engaged in a back-and-forth game at the start. UNF plated the game's first run, but fell behind after
Clayton Boroski allowed back-to-back home runs in the third.
Jakob Runnels and
Tripp McKinlay added RBIs in the bottom of the inning to put UNF ahead.
Central Arkansas tied the game in the fifth and the game remained that way until the seventh. UCA then put together an impressive seventh and eighth inning, where they scored three runs in each. McKinlay would add two more RBIs in the ninth, but the Bears ultimately won the contest.

North Florida received another solid start from
Tony Roca, who allowed one run across five impressive innings. UNF's bats were stifled throughout the game, leading to Roca's second loss of the season. Central Arkansas scored their first run of the game in the fourth on a bunt. The run alone would have been enough to win, but they added one more in the eighth for insurance.
Avery Love and
Kaden Humphrey were great out of the pen, tossing a combined four innings of one-run ball. The Ospreys failed to score a run in the game and were handed their first series loss of the season.
