TEMPE, Ariz. - North Florida softball (10-8) gained its first win of the weekend with a run-rule 10-2 victory in its rematch against UC San Diego (4-13), but fell to Arizona State (14-6) in the night cap, 6-5, after an overturned call at the plate on Saturday evening.

All nine players in the starting batting lineup recorded a hit against the Tritons, as Abi Annett was the star of the first game of the day with two home runs, including a grand slam to walk-off in the sixth with a 10-2 run-rule.

Ospreys held an early lead behind Allison Benning giving herself run protection with a two-run home run to go up by three. The Sun Devils fought back for the lead and UNF had a chance to score in the seventh, but Madisyn Federico was tagged out at home after video review in the crushing 6-5 loss.
