JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - In another close game, North Florida softball (14-8) scored their runs early and pulled out another defensive win behind great pitching in its rematch against USC-Upstate, 4-2, to complete the 3-0 sweep at the JU Spring Break Challenge on Sunday afternoon.
Allison Benning led the charge with three RBIs from the plate and 3 scoreless innings allowed in the circle.
Halle Arends earned the win in back-to-back days, as she went four innings and kept the Spartan offense to two runs total.
