JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's tennis (5-5) win in its first-ever matchup against St. Bonaventure (4-10) on Wednesday afternoon at UNF Tennis Complex.
The Ospreys dominated in doubles play by sweeping the Bonnies on all three courts, which transferred over to singles play leading to their victory 6-1.
Sofia Snitko used the win she gained alongside
Jasmin Makela in doubles play to gain her first singles win as an Osprey.
Kendall Nash and
Anslee Long improved their doubles record to 6-1 on the season.
Amy Kaplan and
Alisa Lyshko put on a show to win, 6-1, followed by Snitko and Makela's 6-1 win as well.
Next up for the Ospreys, they will stay at home to take on Florida A&M on Friday, Mar. 1, at 2 p.m., at UNF Tennis Complex.
