JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (9-5) exploded on offense in the sixth inning after being held scoreless to come back down a run and take down Iowa (6-5), 6-1, to close out the UNF-JU Classic on Sunday afternoon at UNF Softball Complex.
The Ospreys were at a standstill with the Hawkeyes going into the sixth inning tied at 0-0. After Iowa scored a run,
Chloe Culp tied the game with an RBI single, followed by an RBI single from
Taylor Shephard that ended up scoring three runs after a throwing error to five enough cushion for a comeback win.
