LOUISVILLE, Ky. - North Florida volleyball was the tougher team late in sets and it showed in the final score as the Ospreys (9-15, 5-4 ASUN) won their fifth match in six tries with a sweep at Bellarmine (6-13, 3-6 ASUN) Friday, Oct. 25.
Janelly Ceopa posted her first-career double-double and
Kierstyn McFall overwhelmed the Bellarmine block with 13 kills on .765 hitting in the victory.
UNF 3, Bellarmine 0 (28-26, 25-22, 28-26)
- Set 1: UNF hit .415 in the first frame, getting six kills from Janelly Ceopa to work around a Bellarmine set point and win a crucial first frame, 27-25.
- Set 2: North Florida hit .306 with just two attack errors to stay on top of Bellarmine, working around an early deficit for the second time on the evening in a 25-22 win.
- Set 3: UNF used a furious comeback to win the third set, overcoming a 22-18 deficit with a six-point run … the Ospreys outlasted Bellarmine's match point to win following an Annie Antar kill and a Bellarmine attack error.
