ATLANTA, Ga. - North Florida women's tennis began its appearance with its first few singles matches at the ITA Southeast Regionals hosted by Georgia Tech on Thursday afternoon.
Anslee Long had a three-set win in its first singles match as a part of the qualifying draw, while
Nicole Alfaro Solis also earned a two-set sweep in qualifying as well. The wins from Long and Alfaro Solis came against USF and Georgia State.
Long and Solis will be a part of the main draw as well, along with their teammates Laurie Bardense and
Aryana Bartlett. They will also compete in doubles later this weekend with Alfaro Solis and Barlett will be one pair and Long/Barendse will be the other pair.
North Florida continues its extended weekend with the next round of matches in both singles and doubles play at the ITA Southeast Regionals hosted by Georgia Tech on Friday, Oct. 18.
