Ospreys Set for Two-Day Meet in Fort Myers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming continues a stretch of three road meets, as the Ospreys are set to compete in the Eagle Invitational at FGCU Oct. 18-19. The field will consist of Georgia Southern, the University of Tampa, the University of Toledo and FGCU.Â
The first session will kick off Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. with the second and third sessions being swam Saturday, Oct 19 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.Â

Coffey TalkÂ
"This is a new meet for us this season. We'll be swimming in the championship format. It's an opportunity to see where we're at in the season. There is going to be plenty of competition and we look forward to swimming fast. This is a good test for our athletes to swim their events in this type of environment". -- head coach Ian Coffey

- The 1,650-yard freestyle, 100-yard individual medley and the 800-yard freestyle relay will be swam for the first time this seasonÂ
- The Ospreys will compete against Toledo for the first-time in program historyÂ
