JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's basketball produced a total team effort in a game that saw four players combine for 74 of the Ospreys 85 points, as the Ospreys got back to its winning ways in a 85-76 victory over Lipscomb on Wednesday evening.
Chaz Lanier scored 19 points or more for the seventh game in a row, while
Nate Lliteras led all scorers in rebounds with nine. Lliteras recorded a season-high 19 points that saw him just shy of a double-double, he has also scored double digits in every conference game so far.

First Half
The Ospreys started the game hot, with
Jaylen Smith providing assists to
Dorian James to open the scoring and
Nate Lliteras for his first trey … James made it 8-0 with a three dished from Lliteras … the Bisons began to cut into the deficit before Lliteras drained his second three of the night to make it 11-5 … Lipscomb would go on a 6-0 run to tie things up until Lanier regained the lead with two free-throws … the Ospreys and Bisons would ensue on a back-and-forth run with Lipscomb taking the lead back before Miles recorded his first bucket for yet another lead change … Lanier sank his first three of the night followed by a jumper to put the Ospreys within two following another six-point run from the Bisons … Scores from Miles, James, Lliteras and Lanier saw UNF retake the lead once again … Lipscomb tied it before the Ospreys ensued on an 8-0 run to close out the half with a 36-28 lead.
Second Half
Lanier grabbed the first bucket of the second period, taking his total up to 11 … Miles drained a three followed by scores from Lanier and Lliteras to take the Ospreys lead up to 13 … Lanier hit a three and Lliteras bagged a layup to take both of their totals to 16 … Smith tallied his first points of the night with an and-one to give the Ospreys its largest lead of the game at 16 points … Lliteras nabbed his eighth bucket before
Max Hrdlicka saw a put-back fall for his first points … James and Smith tallied layups, followed by a four-point Bisons run that cut the lead to five … Miles drove in for a layup while James sank two free-throws from the line … Smith and Lanier made the last two field goals as the last 15 points from the Ospreys came at the charity stripe … Following the frenzy of free-throws, UNF would come out on top 85-76 shooting 21-for-23 from the line.
