SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - North Florida women's tennis had its best start to a spring season since 2021, as they went on the road and defeated Incarnate Word, 5-2, on Friday afternoon.
The Ospreys took the doubles point with a big 6-3 win from the second pairing of
Anslee Long and
Kendall Nash. Although they each fell later in their singles matches,
Annabelle Davis,
Amy Kaplan and
Alisa Lyshko each earned victories in singles play to secure a three-point victory over the Cardinals.
UNF stays within the Lone Star State in a quick turnaround to face off against Texas State on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 12 p.m., in San Marcos, Tex.
