Veteran Leaders Shine For Men's Basketball in River City Rumble Win, 82-74

James Sets Career-High of 25 Points, Lanier Joins With 21 Points

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dorian James and Chaz Lanier showed their experience and leadership in a rivalry game that saw 4,559 people at UNF Arena, as North Florida men's basketball (9-9, 2-1) dominated the second half for an 82-74 victory in the River City Rumble against Jacksonville (9-8, 0-3) on Friday evening.

The Ospreys faced a three-point deficit at the break and made the adjustments on offense to explode for 49 points in the second half. A 10-0 run after typing the score early in the second, followed with a 16-6 run right after, gave UNF enough cushion to secure its first home win in conference play.

Dorian James and Chaz Lanier were the stars of the show combining for 46 points after lighting it up with dunks and threes. James surpassed 20 points for the first time with a career-high 25 points, while Lanier notched 21 points, as they both played all but five minutes combined in the game.
